Authentification Failed message when connecting to NatWest

I can help share some insights on why you're unable to connect your Natwest bank account, newforestchef-ne

 

Please be reminded that our system is updating the bank feeds to comply with new Open Banking regulations. With that said, being unable to connect your bank account can be caused by the new banking rules. That means banking transactions can be uploaded into QuickBooks via Open Banking. You may consider upgrading your connection to sync your bank transactions. 

 

You'll want to manually import your bank transactions using a CSV file until the new connection is yet available. Please check out add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed for your reference.
