Hello there, @Paul161157. Let me assist you today.
Please know that there are two user views in QuickBooks Online. If you're using the Business View, your QuickBooks balance won't show on the Banking page. You'll also notice that the Banking menu will become the Transactions menu.
This setting has a slightly different terminology and presentation from the original view that accounting professionals and old QuickBooks users are used to seeing. We added this feature to help the new users get started quickly on the key workflows that matter most to small businesses.
To show the Bank Balance and QuickBooks Balance, you can switch to Accountant View.
- Go to the Gear icon, then select Accounts and Settings.
- Tap on Advanced at the left pane, then go to the User View section.
- Toggle the option from Business View to Accountant View and vice versa.
I'm adding this article to learn more about each view and how to switch between them: Switch between Business and Accountant view in QuickBooks Online.
