Can't seem to unlink and then relink with Virgin Money CC. Been doing it via the desktop site and via the app on my phone. Keep getting the "try again" prompt. Ideas?

I seem to have two linked accounts with Virgin Money CC. One says the site is down for maintenance and consent is withdrawn. Then another saying Active but yet it isn't pulling in my recent transactions. Have been trying to unlink and relink this account but with no luck. QB seems to keep failing to do these tasks.

Hi George, I appreciate you sharing the details. Please note that once you disconnect your bank account, QuickBooks will stop downloading new transactions and will delete any categorized ones from the Bank transactions tab.

 

During the connection of your bank to QuickBooks using Open Banking, you'll have to reconfirm your consent every 90 days, as this is a requirement of the Open Banking standard. Although this article refers mainly to QuickBooks Online, the same principles apply to your QuickBooks Sole Trader account.

 

If the maintenance message comes from your bank's side, please wait until their systems are back up. Once resolved, your transactions will automatically sync with your account.

 

If the issue persists after their maintenance, that's when I recommend contacting our Live Support team. They have access to take a closer look at what's causing the error and resolve it efficiently.
