Cant reconect quickbooks online to my bank account?

Hi, Jonathan.

I appreciate you for sharing your concern here on the Community forum. I'll help you with reconnecting your bank account to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

A bank won't connect to QBO if there are some changes from the financial institution like the website link. For the time being, I recommend making sure to use the correct and updated l credentials.

  1. Go to your bank's website and log in to your account.
  2. Copy the URL.
  3. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  4. Go to the Banking page, click on Add account.
  5. In the search field, paste the bank's URL.
  6. Under results, click on the bank
  7. Enter your username and password.
  8. Hit on Connect.

If the error continues, I would like to know the name of your bank, and the error message you're getting. This way, I can gather enough resources and check for any open investigation.

For more hints about connecting an account to QuickBooks, you can open this article: Connect your bank feeds using Open Banking.

I'm also adding this link for additional troubleshooting steps when bumping into online banking issues: Here's how you can fix Open Banking errors in QuickBooks.

Please feel free to leave a comment below if you have any other questions about reconnecting an account to QBO. I've got your back, and I'm always here to help. Have a good one!
