I had my bank feed set up a few months ago and it has worked at least twice ( I have to put in a code using a gadget) but in the last 48 hrs I've tried several times, it says it is connected and updating but nothing appears in QB.
How's everything, Anita?
Let's get this working for you and get your updated bank transactions.
When using Online Banking, bank transactions are automatically downloaded in QuickBooks Online. Though, there are times we need to update it manually to ensure all the transactions are downloaded. Let me show you how to do the manual update:
1. On the left-panel menu, click Banking and go to the Banking tab.
2. Click the Update button.
3. Click Update Now.
4. If asked, enter your credentials and then click Continue Update.
Using a Web Connect file can be a good alternative if it doesn't update your Banking page. Feel free to browse this article for more information: Upload More Than 90 Days of Bank Transactions through Web Connect.
If you have other concerns or if you can provide additional information, please don't hesitate to get back on this thread.
Can I ask how you connected your co-op account please? I can't even get that bit to work and I've not been asked to put in a code using a gadget anywhere.
Thanks for contacting the Community.
I can try and help you connect your Co-op Bank account, can I please confirm what is happening when you connect your account? Do you have the Add account button in the top right of your dashboard when on the Banking tab? Or are you having the problem after this stage?
Same issue. Cant reconnect Co-op Bank, can't add it again as a new account. No updates for about a month now. Quickbooks just says the connection is broken and I can't fix it. Details I'm entering are correct. Support is useless they just keep walking me through the connection procedure, which doesn't work!
Thanks for getting in touch really sorry to hear of your troubles connecting your Bank to your QuickBooks Online.
Could I please check which error codes you have received? Can I also confirm which version of QuickBooks you are using whether this is the Online version or Self Employed?
What error code is the self-employed banking screen giving you? Depending on the error code we will have different advice to give you.
Thank you for getting back in touch.
Can I ask you to complete some trouble shooting to see if this fixes the connection?

I have been speaking to our online banking team and they believe it is an issue with the URL on the banking page.
Can you please click the below link and try and log in, and then let me know what happens: https://bank.co-operativebank.co.uk/CB/p#_frmLoginStatements
Thanks, Carly. :)
Thank you for testing this for me Matteos. I will get back to our Banking team to let them know that worked and see what our next steps should be.
Sounds like the same problem I had. Mine was a problem with using a special character in my password. When I changed my online banking password so it was just letters and numbers, it worked fine...took 10 days and lots of phone calls to find that out though!
Changed the password to something without symbols an voila! It worked. Thanks so much HSoutar. Always amazes me how its other users on forums that come to the rescue in these situations, not the companies themselves. You should be given a free month or something!
The problem is now resolved thanks to HSoutar (please give him a prize if it wasn't for him I'd have cancelled my subscription).
Question for you though: Will I need to manually add the transactions that got missed while the account wasn't linked, or will Quickbooks import them automatically?
