Co-Op banking feed

There appears to be a number of banking feed issues recently, judging by this board.

We use Co-Op bank, and the feed has been great up to now. However, my last connection to the bank was on 13 March 2021; since then I have not been able to connect.

On trying to connect to the bank for an update, I get the following message ...

"Mind if we verify that you're you?  We do this from time to time to protect your info. (185)", with a "Verify your info" button underneath.

However, nothing happens when I click the button.  I have tried (re)connecting the bank account to QB, but the same message reappears.

I have attached a file with picture of screen shot.

For completeness, I can log directly onto my bank.

Hello Jon Thanks for getting in touch with us about the verify issue with Co-op bank, there is an issue with that banks connection which our banking engineers are currently working on fixing  - INV-56276 QBO UK- 'Security info needed- 185- 'Verify your info' button unresponsive Co-op Bank I can link your company  to the investigation so that you'll receive all updates going forward via email. In the meantime, if you urgently need to update your account please do so by importing a CSV of the transactions downloaded from your bank.

Co-Op banking feed

The Co-op bank feed is still not working properly despite my query with QBO being closed because QB's said the issue was resolved.  Clients are now getting very frustrated!

This isn't the kind of experience we want you to have with the Co-op bank feeds in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @ian29. That's why I'm here to share details about this.

Since the Community is a public forum, and we'll need to collect some personal information to further investigate the cause why you're still experiencing issues with the Co-op bank feeds in QBO, I encourage you to reach out to our Customer Care team. They have all the necessary tools to check the issue and guide you with a fix.

In the meantime, you can manually import your transactions to QBO to keep your Co-op Bank account updated. You can refer to this article for the step-by-step guide: Upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Once uploaded, you'll have to review and/or match the transactions to the existing entries in QuickBooks. This is to keep your financial data accurate. For the step-by-step guide, kindly refer to this article: Categorise online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. It also contains instructions about excluding personal and duplicate transactions.

Additionally, I'd also recommend reconciling your accounts every month. This is to monitor your income, expenses, and detect any possible errors accordingly. To learn more about this, you can refer to this article: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online. It includes information about editing completed reconciliations.

Please don't hesitate to comment below if you have other banking concerns and inquiries about managing your transactions in QBO. I'm always here to help. Take care always.
