Your browsing history can be the reason why you're unable to reconnect your bank accounts. Thus, let's perform some browser troubleshooting steps so you can reconnect them successfully.
But first, may I know the name of your bank? Any details you can share will be appreciated and can help me look for some reports related to this unexpected behavior.
Nevertheless, let's begin by accessing your account in a new incognito or private window of your browser. This way, we can check if this issue is related to your current browser or not. To do so:
However, if you still have the same issue, let's switch and use a new browser application. Then, log back into your account and reconnect your bank accounts from there.

Hi. I've got exactly the same problem with Barclays. Both current and savings have been working fine but on Tuesday (14th April) QBO told me the connection had expired and to reconnect. Weird as the connection was way less than 90 days but OK, do it again. Going through the process and ticking all accounts in the Barclays bit, QBO then appears to process 2 connections without error and then I return to the normal QBO page to see the savings account hasn't actually connected and to do a reconnect. I've done this a few times now and reading other discussions cleared my cache and done everything else thats been advised, all to no avail.
What needs to be done to get this working again and please don't tell me it's a Barclays problem.
Thank you for posting here in the Community, @glennc.
Allow me to share some insights about your banking problem in QuickBooks Online. Right now, there are changes to the Open Banking security profile performed by Barclays group banks.
It doesn't affect the banking information we hold, or in any way affect the security of your data. The only action necessary is to reauthorise access to your account and re-authenticate the connection by clicking the banner from the banking section.
Since you're unable to connect, we’ll have to add the company to the notification list. This is to ensure you receive email updates regarding the resolution status.
That said, please proceed with contacting our QBO Care Team. One of them will need to take over from here and gather your account information in a more secure environment.
Here’s how to get in touch with our support team:
I've included an article you can use to learn more about Open Banking in the future, like how the process works: Understanding if you can upgrade your bank feeds to Open Banking.
Thank you for your patience. Please know that I'm just a comment away if you need further assistance. Have a great day ahead.
Thanks for the reply however what your advising to do, i.e. perform a reconnect is exactly what I have done, as per my original post. TBH, I'm getting fed up with the persistent issues with QBO and Barclays as each side always blames the other and it's the paying customer stuck in the middle. Maybe it's time to switch at least one provider and in the first instance it won't be Barclays!
When you try and connect your savings account what exactly happens?
Do you get any error codes to show up and messages when trying to reconnect the account?
If the account is not showing as available then it is not yet on the new open banking.
When I try to reconnect, I go through the usual Barclays security etc and check both my Current and Savings accounts. Once security at Barclays is completed, QBO shows it's attempting to connect then after a few seconds says DONE in a big green box and then proceeds to repeat the same connect and DONE which I assume is for the 2nd account. Closing this and then looking at Banking in QB, the saving account still states it needs a reconnect so I'm stuck in the same loop. For the purposes of clarification, this has been working fine, both accounts are available in Open Banking and it's only from early this week the savings account now fails. There are no error messages reported, just QBO telling me that the connection has expired, see screenshot
I appreciate the screenshot you've provided. As mentioned by my peer above, we're aware and verified that we have reported issues with other users getting this issue as well.
We're currently tracking those customers who are affected by this issue and we are working closely with Barclays and financial institutions to provide Open Banking connections for as many banking products as possible.
We've already submitted a ticket about this issue and our engineers are all hands on deck working together for an immediate fix to sort everything out.

I appreciate you for joining the thread and for sharing the error you've received with Barclays Bank, @BladeTwick.
I'm here to guide you on how to fix the issue.
The previous investigation with Barclays bank was already tagged as closed and resolved. The bank is now available for open banking connection with QuickBooks. That said, users having this bank must be able to have a smooth connection between QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Your Barclays Business Banking (UK) connection has expired error can be fixed by disconnecting and reconnecting the bank for a fresh start.
Here's how to remove the account from QuickBooks:
Once done, reconnect the bank into QuickBooks.
