Hi there, @fitnfreshpt!
Before anything else, could you share the name of the bank you’ve linked to your QuickBooks Online (QBO)? Knowing this will help us pinpoint the root cause of the issue and provide the right solution.
Regarding the transactions that are not appearing in QBO, please note that QuickBooks relies entirely on the data shared by your bank. If these entries are already posted in your bank account but are not showing in QuickBooks, we can perform some banking troubleshooting steps to trigger the system to import them.
Let’s begin by signing out and back into your QBO account. This can refresh the system and remove prior banking activity that can be causing the issue.
Next, manually updating your bank connection in QBO can often capture the most recent transactions, as most banks share updates every 24 hours.
Here's how:
- Go to the Bank Transactions page.
- Select the account tile where the transactions are not showing.
- Click the Update button on the right side of the screen, next to the Link Account dropdown.

Keep in mind that transactions older than 90 days cannot be downloaded in QBO.
If the issue persists, log in to your bank’s website and check for any maintenance notifications or error messages that presents' the data from syncing with QuickBooks. These notifications typically include the resolution steps or an estimated timeframe for when the issue will be fixed.
Additionally, ensure your bank information in QuickBooks matches your current login details. If you’ve recently updated your bank account number, username, or password on your bank’s website but haven’t updated this information in QBO, transactions will not be imported into the system.
Here’s how to update your bank information in QuickBooks:
- Navigate to the Bank Transactions page.
- Click the Pencil icon on the bank account card.

- Select Edit sign-in info.

- Enter your updated login and password, then click Save and connect.
If none of the above resolves the issue, you can manually upload your bank transactions into QBO including older transactions to prevent delays in completing your banking tasks.
It is also worth noting that once the issue is resolved, this can cause duplicate entries to your manually uploaded transactions. You can, however, exclude them to avoid downloading them again QBO.
Feel free to respond below with the name of your bank or if you have any additional questions. We’re here to help.
