Thanks for reaching out, Claire.
While QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) doesn’t currently have a direct connection to Monzo Business accounts, including Monzo Lite, you can easily keep your records accurate by manually importing your transactions.
To do this, sign in to your bank’s website and download your transactions as a CSV file. When you're file is ready to import, follow these steps for the process:
- Open QBSE in a web browser.
- Go to the Gear icon and select Import transactions.
- Click Import older transactions for the account you want to add transactions to.
- Select Browse and find the file you downloaded from your bank. It's usually in your Downloads folder.
- Locate the file and open it to start the import.
- Review the column headers and data. Make sure the Date, Description, and Amount columns on the CSV match the columns and order in QuickBooks. The other column headers can be in any order.
- Click Continue to complete the import.
You can refer to this article for more information about the process: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Once done, make sure to review and categorise the data for accuracy.
