When downloading transaction from Chase into QB, the Chase site is extremely slow. In addition, the first time I perform the download procedure it does not work. I always have to perform it a second time, to get the transactions into QB. Only having this issues with Chase.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Luis
Hello Luis,
We haven't received any issues regarding the bank transactions from Chase. You might need to check with them to see if they have an on going website maintenance. This will help us verify what causes the issue.
Otherwise, you'll need to do the manual update to get your bank transactions downloaded to QuickBooks Online.
You can also use a Web Connect file as an alternative to get your bank transactions.
Let me know if you encounter any errors, or if you need anything.
Hello.
This issue has been going on for a long time with Chase. Are there any browser setting that are generally required for the financial institutions' interfaces to work properly? My default browser is Chrome.
Thanks,
Luis
Thanks for getting back, Luis.
QuickBooks Online doesn't have a specific browser requirements or set up to work with the Online Banking feature. It might be your financial institution is trying to verify your request to download your transactions when you first click the Update button. Thus, needing to click it again to successfully download the transactions.
You can also try checking the condition of your browser to make sure we get rid of any cache and browser related issues. You can use this link to do it: Browser Health Checkup.
Again, I'd recommend reaching out to your financial institution. This to verify if they have added a new security feature when accessing your bank transactions.
Fill me in when you get a chance.
I've been told (Our entire firm has been alerted) from Chase they do not support QBO. Only the desktop version and have disconnected all our customer's accounts!
Please say this is not true or there's some way to upload transactions or a bank statement another way....
I am having problems downloading statements from Chase via QB bank feed on my desktop version. The website itself is very slow within QB. I have had to refresh several times to return to the home page or complete any process. I am unable to mouse click any selection in the download window and have to tab and type every entry or selection in.
I've attempted to download by both QBO and IIF file, but neither option will completely download.
Any updates on changes between Chase and QB?
Yes, I believe the woman who spoke to our firm was misinformed. The issue was we had multiple logins with Chase and separate accounts under different logins. Quickbooks Online can pull bank accounts from 1 login. If not all bank accounts connected are associated with that login it will disconnect the rest.
Your issue sounds like maybe you need to clear your computer. Try going to your browser and clearing your history & cookies. That seems to fix anything when my QBO is acting up.
Hi,
Im new to quickbooks and it says I can sustain fee's from chase if I do not upload my QBO file manually. However QB is unable to upload the files chase provides. Are the fee's per download?
update I figured it out
