Errors connecting to HSBC account (105)

Have semi connected my HSBC account but every time I do it I get this error message:


'The HSBC Bank (UK) - Business Banking site is down for site maintenance.

Try connecting again in a few hours. (105)'


I can see my HSBC balance but no transactions, I have tried multiple times per day for the past few days, any idea?

Some of our users are also experiencing the same thing, Jmunns98. This is already reported to our engineers.


While we're waiting for a fix to be rolled out, I'd suggest reaching out to our customer care support. We're taking notes of our users who are affected by the issue. Here's how:

  1. Click Help inside QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter "HSBC error 105" in the description field, then click Let's talk
  4. Select either Start a chat or Get a callback

In the meantime, you can import bank transactions manually using the Excel CSV file.
