All the new changes to menus and pages are driving me NUTS, everything takes longer, so many more clicks and so hard visually as there is way too much irrelevant text. I do not need to know what transaction I just posted in my header but I DO want to know if there is a difference between my QB and bank balance - why are they changing it so much rn? Please can I revert it all back?
Hi, hay. We completely understand the frustration this causes. Currently, the old view is no longer accessible. The new banking experience now being rolled out company-wide. Though the interface feels different, it is designed to make the page load faster and integrate better with third-party banking apps.
I just want to know where you used to see the difference between QuickBooks and bank balance? Was it during reconciliation? If so, here's how to fix it:

Sorry this makes no sense. The old view is still available. The old view shows the QB balance and bank balance at the top so you can easily and clearly see the difference. The new version is utterly unhelpful. I will need to consider using other platforms if this is permanent
I hear you, Hayley. You're right that the old version is still available because Intuit is currently in the process of a permanent rollout.
However, you can still easily view your QuickBooks Balance alongside your Bank Balance on the Chart of accounts page, where they are displayed in separate columns.
This layout is useful for monitoring your accounts because when these numbers match, it indicates that your books are accurate. If there’s a discrepancy, the side-by-side view allows you to quickly identify differences, showing any money you've recorded that hasn't cleared the bank yet. This way, you can instantly spot outstanding checks without needing to run a report.
