How do I link customer names to bills as a direct cost
When we had desktop version of QB we were able to add customer name to relevant purchases on a bill so we had accurate profit or loss per customer. We haven't found a way of doing that now. It seems crazy.

If you go to the main cog wheel> account and settings> expenses>Track expenses and items by customer if you turn that setting on. It Adds a customer column on expenses and purchases forms so you can track expenses and items by customers.

"Bills and expenses
Show Tags field on expense and purchase forms." This is switched to on. We don't use purchase orders but we do need a customer column on bills to view profit and loss per customer.
