How do you link a bank a blunt and what’s is the advantage

Thanks for posting here in the Community, @jcgreenbuilders

 

Here are the advantages in linking your bank account to the program: 

  • The online banking feature allows you to automatically download your recent transactions.
  • You can get an up-to-date view of your sales and expenses without manual data entry. 

 

I’ll guide you through the steps on how to connect your bank account. 

  1. Go to Banking from the left menu. 
  2. Select Add Account at the upper right. 
  3. Enter your bank name or URL. 
  4. Click Continue
  5. In the pop-up window, enter the login credentials you use for your bank’s website. 
  6. Choose the account type you're connecting (savings, checking, or card).
  7. Set the date range for the download. 
  8. Click Connect.

Once downloaded, all you have to do is to approve the way the program categorises the transactions. Then, you can match them against the entries in the system. To learn more about this process, check out this article: Assign, Match, and Categorise Your Bank Transactions
