How to connect Quickbooks to HSBC Kinetic bank account?

Hello Community Users, We just wanted to pop in and add to this thread. The HSBC Kinetic connection is a mobile to mobile connection. What this means is you would need to connect the bank in the mobile Quickbooks app and run it that way on the Quickbooks mobile app. Any questions we'd be happy to clarify this further.

How to connect Quickbooks to HSBC Kinetic bank account?

Welcome to the Community, @charlie46. You can now connect HSBC Kinetic with QuickBooks Online through Open Banking.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Banking, then tap the Banking tab.
  2. Select Link account, then enter HSBC Kinetic from the search field. You can also paste the HSBC's URL.
  3. Follow the onscreen steps to set up the account.

For details about bank connection, check out this article: Connect your HSBC Business Current, Savings accounts, and Credit Cards in QuickBooks.

In case the steps above don't work, you can connect HSBC Kinetic using Android device.

For future reference, see this artcle to make sure you're guided with categorising and matching your bank transactions.
