I can’t connect my bank account. Can I do it on the app?

Hello Hyde, yes, you can do it in the app. Before we begin, since you mentioned you are unable to connect. Is there any error message that appears? Is this your first time connecting your bank? Have you checked if your bank is doing any maintenance updates?

 

These are the main reasons why any bank-side maintenance or specific error codes will physically block the link between your bank and QuickBooks.

 

Now, here is exactly how to get connected on the QuickBooks mobile app:

 

  1. From the Menu ☰, tap Accounting, then tap "Bank transactions".
  2. Next, tap the plus icon + to add an account. Note that if this is your first time, tap Link account.
  3. After that, search for your bank.
  4. Then, select your bank from the search results.
  5. Once you've done that, sign in to your bank.
  6. Next, follow the steps to select an account to connect to.
  7. Then, select a QuickBooks Online account that the bank account should map to.
  8. Finally, tap Connect.
