I cannot get my yorkshire bank to connect

Hi

 

I cannot get my yorkshire bank account to work with quickbooks. it says i cannot sign in due to a message on YBonline - but there is no message.

 

I just go round and round in circles!

 

Help!

Hello Lou Freakley,

 

You can find the name of your bank from the Search box and from there connect it with QuickBooks. Let me guide you through how.

  1. Click Gear.
  2. Click Bank accounts.
  3. Type in the Search box "Yorkshire", and then click the Yorkshire Bank (UK).
  4. Enter your sign-in information you use at your bank's website.
  5. Click Connect securely.

If you're still unable to connect with your bank, you'll want to export and import your bank transactions using a CSV file. Just sign-in to your bank's website to export.

 

Once done, import your bank transaction by following the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.
  2. Click the Gear icon.
  3. Select Imports.
  4. Choose the account you want to import.
  5. Follow the onscreen instruction to finish importing.

Hi Thanks for the reply, This is what I have been doing but it does not work.

No I go to sign in and put my details in, and it comes up with yorkshire bank has a message for you, llog into your bank to read this before we can go on. So I log into my bank but there is no message so i try with quickbooks again but it is the same. Has been for months

Hey Lou,

 

Can I confirm if you are logging into your bank via a browser, as not all messages will be available through the app. Please also check that there are no unread important emails in your banks inbox.

 

Following this please try to connect the account via an incognito/private browsing window. If you are still experiencing the error code following this please let us know and we will relay this to our bank engineers.

Thanks for checking that, are you able to reply with a screenshot attached showing the error you receive on Quickbooks so that we can escalate this further?
