Hello, @userdaveschofield87.

 

I'm here to share some troubleshooting steps so you'd be able to reconnect your bank account with QuickBooks.

 

First, what is the name of the bank account you're trying to reconnect with QuickBooks? This is for me to further check the root cause of this unexpected behaviour. 

 

In the meantime, let's access your QuickBooks account and reconnect your bank using a private or an incognito browser. It's possible that piled-up cache in your regular browser gets corrupted while trying to reconnect your bank. You can use any of these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

Here's how to reconnect your bank account:

  1. Go to the Gear icon ⚙.
  2. Choose Bank Accounts.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect your account. 

If it works, you'd want to clear your browser's cache.  Also, you can use other web browsers too. 

 

However, if the issue persists. I'd recommend contacting our Customer Support Team. A specialist can securely look up your account and investigate what's causing this issue.
