I can show you how to connect your new account into QuickBooks, gsmyth80.
Before we link the bank account, let’s verify the error by looking into our connected accounts and check is there’s an existing one. From there, we can either update or unlink it and connect the new one.
Here’s how to verify:
- Go to the Banking page and select a bank.
- Click the pencil icon at the upper-right of the bank tile and select Edit sign-in info.
- If the credentials are the same, we can update it instead by changing the bank information.
- Click Update sign-in info.
- We'll connect with your bank to verify the details.
- Select I’m done, Let’s go! once it has been successfully updated.
If we opt to remove it, still from the banking page, just click the pencil icon and then select Edit account Info. Check the Disconnect this account on save. Then, click Save and Close.
