Import Bank Deposits

Hi,

I am entering bank deposits for past months to bring my Quickbooks Online account up to date. I am not connected to the bank. I am entering criteria manually under bank deposits as follows:

Date - a past month

Received from: (Donars's name)

Account: (Donation)

Payment Method: (Direct Debit)

Amount:

I would like to import the monthly bank deposits as it will be quicker. However the bank import criteria only has date, account and amount. How do I configure the import for the monthly bank deposits and change the criteria to what I need please ?

Many thanks for the help.

Import Bank Deposits

Let me share with you a few information about importing bank deposits, sj007.

Online banking is one of the biggest timesavers in QuickBooks Online. Once you connect your bank, QuickBooks automatically downloads transactions up to a certain date. For now, when importing bank transactions you can only import the date, account, and amount in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You'll want to manually categorise and match your transaction to make sure that you get the information you need. The transactions go into your accounts after you review them. Please check this article for more information: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

For your reference, you can now reconcile your account after comparing each transaction with the ones entered in QuickBooks. Visit this article for your guide: Reconcile An Account In QuickBooks Online.
