Hi there, Carl. May I ask if you've encountered any error messages while trying to connect? Also, which bank are you trying to link?
In the meantime, please check your financial institution's website for any alerts regarding ongoing maintenance that might be blocking the connection.
It’s also important to ensure your bank supports Open Banking connections before linking. If your bank isn't currently listed, you can still bring your data in via a manual upload.
Here's how:
- Download the transaction file from your bank and check that the format and size are supported.
- Navigate to Transactions and select Bank transactions.
- Click Upload transactions.
- Select Drag and drop or select files, choose your file, and hit Continue.
- In the Account name dropdown, choose the account you want to upload the transactions into, then select Continue.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to match the columns in your file with the fields in QuickBooks and click Continue.
- Select the specific transactions you wish to import and hit Continue.
- Click Yes to confirm, then hit Got it.
