Hi there, @mitchinsonm1. When you click update, does it just loop back to the same screen, or does nothing happen at all? Also, are you seeing any specific error codes?
To start, QuickBooks Online automatically attempts nightly batch refreshes, but delays may occur if your bank is down for maintenance or has updated its connection settings.
To resolve this, I recommend logging into your bank’s website directly to check for any alerts, new security requirements, or display issues that might be blocking the data from flowing into QuickBooks. If everything looks good on your bank’s side, you can try to manually update again in QuickBooks by going to Bank Transactions and clicking Update to refresh the connection.
Regarding the app, once you’ve updated it in a web browser, the app should sync up automatically. If it’s still stuck even after an app update, it’s best to reach out to our Live Support team so they can take a closer look if there’s a sync issue between the web version and your mobile device.
