Hi,
I have just tried linking my business bank account to my QB. I am doing this for the first time and I need to go back as far as January 2023. It will only allow me to go back to January 2024. Is this an issue I need to raise with NatWest or with QBs.
Thanks in advance,
Jamie
I'm here to ensure your last year's bank transactions show up on your QuickBooks Online (QBO).
QuickBooks automatically downloads banking data the first time you connect an account for the previous 90 days only. In this case, we can manually upload the older transactions using a CSV file.
Here's how:
For more details, please see this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
In case you haven't checked the CSV formatting that QuickBooks accepts, you can check this page to ensure your transactions are using the correct format: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.
Once your bank transactions are already downloaded, you can now categorize or match them. This way, you can put them in the correct accounts.
We'll be here to support you if you need assistance managing bank transactions inside QuickBooks. You can always count on us anytime. Have a great day.
