Hello Accounts318:waving_hand: If there's a change made at the financial institution side(such as changing the bank account name)it can throw off the 90-day consent for the connection. As the reconnection on the error message has not worked what we need to ask you to try is a full disconnection and reconnection of the opening banking connection. To do this go to accounting>chart of accounts>edit on the drop-down menu on the left-hand side under account history on that account>then in the pop-up box which opens up tick disconnect account on save>save and close. Once done go back to banking to add the Barclays account it should then take you through the re-auth process and connect. If you have any issues with this please reach back out here in the Community.
Hiya Accounts318 :waving_hand:, I would like to help fix this issue with you :hammer_and_wrench:️ What product are you using, Self-employed, or the online version? and do you get an error code next to the message that you're seeing or an error code anywhere on the banking page and when connecting?
online business version of Quick books i'm working remotely from home however. no error message comes up apart from saying after i go through the re-connection process of sayingn there is still not connection and then it makes me do it all again with no outcome, i go onto the bank, select the bank account it says 'connection complete". but this never registers and the message saying the link is lost has to be done every 90 days etc is still there. But no error code message. it seems to do it each time. I remember before; i changed the name of the original Barclays account which was vague and unhelpful to the name of the company on the barclays online banking site and this seemed to scupper the link as it wasn't the bank accounts original name on first connection, but if i manually select it this shouldnt matter surely?
