My 90 day reconnection does not seem to work its 13 days now. I click reconnect and agree it goes to my OLB and nothing happens then

My 90 day reconnection does not seem to work its 13 days now. I click reconnect and agree it goes to my OLB and nothing happens then

Thanks for posting here, @cartsnorthwich-d. I'm here to help you ensure you can reconnect your account in QuickBooks.

 

To make sure that we're on the same page, could you please tell me which bank you're having trouble with? In the meantime, let's reconnect your bank using an incognito mode. The saved web cache in your browser can sometimes interfere with the functionality of software like QuickBooks.

 

Here are the shortcut keys you can use:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N 
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

Once your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account is open, reconnect your bank account again. 

 

If this works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache. This will eliminates unnecessary data and refreshes the browser's background processes. However, if the same thing happens, you can use other supported browsers to help narrow down the cause of this issue.

You may also want to utilize another feature of QBSE which allows you to import your bank transactions manually. For detailed guidance, you can visit this article: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed. It also includes instructions on how you can download your transactions from your bank. 

 

When you're transactions are in, you'll now have to categorise them to ensure that they are under the correct account.
