Oh right

 

Not updated since Friday morning last week, it says its updated but not showing the most recent 14 transactions

When I update it doesn't ask for passcode etc via card machine which it usually does to update

I have same issue my Barclays account has connected and told me its complete but hasn't brought in my transactions for 2 weeks now

Hello Keystagelocations,

 

Did you encounter an error message while you're in the Banking page? This will help me review our system for any related investigations.

 

Meanwhile, most banking errors are fixed by doing the manual update. It refreshes the connection between your bank's website and QuickBooks Online:

  1. In the Banking page, click the Update button.
  2. Enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials.
  3. Click Continue update.

You can browse this article for specific error codes and their troubleshooting steps: How to Manually Update an Account to Fix Banking Errors.

 

If your bank offers a WebConnect file, you can import it to QuickBooks Online.

 

If the error code you received is not mentioned in the article, please let me know. I'd appreciated additional information about it.

no error codes at all it goes all the way through and says completed bringing all my transactions in but they don't come in late transaction is dated 16/09/2019 nothing after that has come in to quickbooks online

When there aren't any latest bank transactions, there's a chance that the bank is doing some updates. It could be that they are having some system maintenance or upgrades. We might want to consider giving them sometime to complete their works. 

 

You can also check on their website to see if there's something that needs approval from you. Then, let's update the connectivity in QuickBooks Online manually as described by JamesDuanT. 

  1. Go to the Banking page.
  2. Click on the Update button.
  3. Do this a few more times (4-5) to see if it's downloading new bank transactions. 1.PNG

On the other hand, you can call our phone support team to have this investigated. This way, our engineers can escalated it with the bank representatives to get it fixed.

  1. Click on the Help icon.
  2. Select Contact us.
  3. Enter banking issue and click on Let's talk.
  4. Choose a either Start a chat or Get a callback.

united bank that is already connected to my quickbooks is not updating in the expenses area, there are no messages from the bank itself, everything is properly signed in and or registered

I appreciate you for posting your experienced here in the Community. I'm here to help ensure that your United bank expense transactions are updating in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

I've checked our investigation list, but we haven't received any similar reports about this issue. The first thing to do is log in to your bank website to confirm if the expense transactions are posted in your bank account since the transactions downloaded to QBO is dependent on the data provided by your bank's website. 

 

Once done, you'll need to manually update your bank account to bring in the transactions to QBO. Here's how: 

  1. On the left navigation bar, click Banking.
  2. Go to Banking tab.
  3. Click Update.

For your reference, you can check this article: How to manually update bank accounts.

 

If the same thing happens, you'll need to download the expense transactions manually from bank website and import them into QuickBooks using WebConnect feature.

same problem for about 3 weeks  and all my banks and credit cards are not updating  following error   wait a few min and try again  if the problem persists talk to support

Can I please confirm the bank which you are connecting with and the error code which you receive when connecting, please include a screenshot if possible so we can help further. :)

I haven't been able to connect to my Lloyds business account since 4 October.

 

It says "Something isn't working

Sorry, we can’t update your account. Please try updating again later.(14)"

Our engineers are already aware of this, and they’re working to find the root cause. Please contact our Support, so they can add your company information to the list of affected users. I won't be able to ask it from here since this is a public forum.

  1. Click on Help and choose Contact us.
  2. Enter a description of the issue and click Let's talk.
  3. Choose from Chat or Get a callback.

While waiting for the solution, you can download your bank transactions from your bank’s website. Then, upload them to QuickBooks.


When the issue will be fixed, your uploaded transactions may show up on the Banking page again. When that happens, you can exclude them to avoid duplicates in your records.
