Problems connecting to TIDE

Hi,

I have attempted to connect my Tide account with Quickbooks on several occasions, both on my phone and laptop.

On my phone I get an error saying site can't be reached when re directed to the "partnerauth" pop up.

On my laptop I get this message when trying to do the same:

{"statusCode":401,"code":"FDPVLT-1003","type":"CLIENT","message":"authentication error: invalid ticket","detail":{},"moreInfo":"https://github.intuit.com/CTO-Dev-FDS-Vault/VaultApplicationServices/wiki/FDPVLT-1003","category":"catastrophic","intuit_tid":"f09f6390-6fed-43de-9714-4dd3878ac50a"}

I have cleared my cache on my browsers just in case that was causing any issues.

Any help appreciated

Thanks for informing us that you've already tried clearing cache in your browser to resolve the issue, GHurford.

We have additional troubleshooting steps to share that can resolve errors when adding a bank in QuickBooks Self-Employed. Here's how:

  1. Make sure to use the same user name and password that you're using when logging in on your bank's website.
  2. If you know you're using the correct sign-in information, change your password on your bank's website and then go back to QBSE and re-enter it. It also helps to use the minimum character limit allowed by your bank.
  3. Use your banks's URL in searching for the bank account.

If you're still getting the same error, please contact our email support agents for QBSE. They have additional tools and will share additional steps to check what's causing the "partnerauth" error.

Some banks have unique ways of connecting to QuickBooks Self-Employed, NigelB1.

Please make sure first to enable the pop-up on your browser whenever you try connecting your QBSE into Tide. There will be a pop-up that asks you to use your Tide mobile app to scan a QR code. We'll have to follow these steps so we can link them successfully.tide.PNG

If you allowed the pop-up already but still getting the same error, I suggest clearing the browser's cache. This is to check if it is the reason of this issue. Aside from Safari, you can also use other browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

In addition, you'll want to log in to your Tide account to get a .csv file that we can import. This is another way of bringing in your transactions into your QBSE account.

Comment again if you have more questions. I'll be here to help you.
