Quickbooks won't connect with Handelsbanken but says it has updated - doesn't even go through security- What can I do to restore connection?

Thanks for your post and welcome to the QuickBooks Online Community!
Can you try signing in via an incognito/private browsing window and going to Banking > select the pencil icon on the bank account > edit sign-in info. This should take you though steps to enter your banks security information to update the account.
Let us know if this does not fix the connection :)
