Hi there, Jamie.

Can you tell us which section in QuickBooks the cash deposits and revenue aren't showing? We just want to make sure that we are giving you the right steps and information to sort this out.

It is in the profitability section.

For further context, I have two bank accounts for the business; 1 for the daily trade (card transactions) and one for outgoings. Once a week I deposit the weekly take from pot 1 to pot 2, these transactions are being picked up in the transaction section for pot 2 but not pot 1, nor are the daily transactions from my card machine.

They are there in the banking app but not showing on QB.

Thanks for getting back and adding information to your concern, jamielucas411. I'll lend a hand so you can see the transactions you need in QuickBooks Online.

Since those are from the banking page, you'll want to manually download your connected bank account and have the latest available transactions. Here's how:

  1. Go to Banking from the left navigational pane.
  2. Choose your bank.
  3. Click Update.

If downloads seem slow, the issue may be on your bank's end. You'll want to sign in to your bank's website by selecting Link Account from the Banking page. Search for your bank and, copy the URL, then sign in. If you're unable to do so, there may be a major issue. You'll want to check the following:

  1. Check your account for messages, notifications, or alerts.
  2. Look for any display issues as you navigate the website. These can block QuickBooks from downloading new transactions.
  3. Check your bank's website for any announcements about new security requirements.

Once done, update your bank information by selecting the tile of the bank from the Banking page and clicking the Edit icon, then tick Edit sign-in info.

Moreover, bank errors often block the system from downloading transactions. If you encountered one, check out this reference to fix them: Open Banking connection errors in QuickBooks Online.

I'll add this helpful resource to help you find missing downloaded transactions from your bank: What to do if you can't find downloaded transactions in QuickBooks Online.
