How do I split a transaction so that part of it can be assigned to ‘Categorised’ and part of it to ‘Excluded’? I know how to create the split but can’t figure out how to move each part of the split. It used to be easy in Quickbooks Self-Employed as you could split between personal and business, but in Quickbooks Online it doesn’t seem possible
Hi stonelandscapema, it's not possible to exclude a partial split amount in QBO, instead, you would need to exclude the whole transaction and then record the partial amount that is to be included in your books manually (if this is sales income, you can record using a sales receipt, if this is outgoings, you can record using an expense). :)
