Hello Raymentdesign,
Welcome to the Community page,
Do you get any errors codes or messages after you have tried the reconnect?
Hi,
thank you for responding. I get no errors messages at all. The process goes smoothly every time. It links to the barcalys connecting page, I use my keypad dongle thing to connect, choose both accounts in the menu, it then says complete in big letters. I go back to QB, and it says my connection has expired and I need to reconnect. I have tried doing it for one account only and it is the same. I have no idea. It is always the same account that will not connect which is not a current account just a deposit account. pointless ringing barclays!
This is a supported and known issue, @raymentdesign.
Barclays group banks performed an update with their Open Banking security profile. Thus, any existing access tokens held by Intuit on behalf of its customers became invalid. I understand the impact of any delays in resolving this known on-going issue. Rest assured that our Product Engineers are currently working releasing a permanent resolution to this concern.
As a workaround, I'd suggest clicking the banner on the Banking page. This way, it'll re-authenticate the connection between the bank and QuickBooks. Also, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team so you'd be added on the affected user's list. Just provide your name, email address and these investigations numbers: INV- 44222 and INV-45508. Once updates are released, it will be applied directly to your account. Also, you'd be notified via an email.
Once resolved, let's go the For Review tab. You can edit and categorise your Barclays transactions from there. Doing so will help ensure your financial records are correct. For more details, check out this article: Categorising Bank Transactions.
As always, if you have further questions, let me know by commenting below. I'm here for you. Have a great day!
