Since the misfortune of the TSB upgrade system, there's no feed. Anyone got a response to know if this is something that they will fix, or is it gone forever?
Hi @LLob,
Thanks for posting to our Community.
We are aware of the connection issues currently with TSB at the moment. This is due to their update over the weekend that subsequently resulted in their systems having to be taken offline to rectify.
Online banking access directly through their website has been restored, however access by third party applications such as QuickBooks Online to accounts to allow the downloading of transactions is still being worked on to restore.
In the meantime, you can download your transaction statements from TSB and manually upload them into QuickBooks Online.
Let me know if you need anything further
Thanks for the update on this GillH!
Will we (as quickbooks users) need to do anything once the issues with 3rd parties accessing TSB have been resolved, or will QuickBooks simply re-sync and show me all the transactions we've been missing?
My worry is that its been nearly 2 weeks now and if i manually upload the transactions i've been missing, then when we do finally re-sync there will be a lot of duplicates.
Thanks for any advice!
Chris
Hi @XXXLViking,
At the moment there is no requirement for TSB customers to do anything extra within their accounts for QuickBooks Online. By design, QBO will look at the date of the last transaction brought into the account from the banking feed and start from the next date to update the accounts once the link is active.
You can upload your transactions manually from CSV statements in the meantime and when the accounts are updating again, any duplicates can be excluded from the For Review section as a Batch Action.
I'll keep the thread updated with any developments or follow up actions
Is this the same for Quickbooks self employed? I have tried importing recent TSB transactions but to no avail. Any help gratefully received!
Hi Catlett,
Yes it would be the same for Self Employed users as TSB class this and QuickBooks Online as third party applications and are yet to restore the access for these systems.
We are awaiting an update from them to advise this has been restored so that we may update our customers such as yourselves.
Hi there. Any update on this yet? Maybe an ETA from TSB?
Thanks all
Chris
Hi All,
We are still waiting on TSB allowing the connection by QuickBooks Online. At this time, they have not been able to advise when this is likely to be, however as soon as this is confirmed, I will update the thread to let you know.
