Unable to reauthorise bank account

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community, @shawefix. Allow me to help you with your concern.

 

There are several reasons why your bank account can lose connection but it's nothing to worry about because we'll show you how to get your QuickBooks back on track.

 

These are the things that we are going to do:

  • Review your bank transactions
  • Disconnect the bank account
  • Reconnect the bank account

Review the transactions that QuickBooks has already downloaded from your bank before disconnecting your account. When you reconnect, it won't download duplicates because of this.

 

These are the steps:

  1. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  2. Select the blue bank square for the bank account you need to disconnect.
  3. Select the For Review tab.

To disconnect the bank account, here’s how:

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  2.  Select the blue bank square for the bank account you need to disconnect.
  3. Select the Edit✎ icon in the tile for the bank account you want to update, then select Edit account info.
  4. Select the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
  5. Select Save and close.

In reconnecting the bank account, here are the few simple steps:

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  2. Select Add account or Link account.
  3. Follow these steps to connect the account to online banking.
