According to the Revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2) your bank may require up to two of the following authentications to complete your transaction:
- Something you know (password or pin)
- Something you have (phone number or email)
- Something you are (biometrics or fingerprints)
How can I make sure my transaction is approved?
First, we recommend you reach out to your bank and make sure they have your current contact information. Then, if your bank asks you to verify your transaction with Intuit, complete their authentication steps.
Will I have to complete this every billing date ?
No. Once you successfully initiate your transaction, you won’t be required to repeat this step for the same subscription. However, your bank may ask you to verify again if you sign up for additional Intuit subscriptions or make one-time purchases.
