Hello there,
The prompt message appears when you're trying to choose an account type that QuickBooks doesn't support. I want to make sure this is taken care of, @ljwagriservices.
Before anything else, could you provide what your financial institution is and what account type you're trying to choose? These details allow us to provide a more targeted response.
That said, I recommend reaching out to your bank to verify whether they are conducting any maintenance activities or system upgrades at the moment. This step will help us determine if the connectivity issues are related to ongoing changes on their side.
In the meantime, you can manually import your bank transactions into QuickBooks Solopreneur. Here's how you can manually upload your transactions using a CSV file:
- Go to the Transactions menu, then select Bank transactions tab.
- Select the tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
- Click the Link account dropdown, then click the Upload from file.
- Hit the Drag and drop or select files and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, select Continue.
- In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then, select Continue.
- Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Continue.
- Select the transactions you like to import. Then click the Continue.
- Click the Yes and Done.
Additionally, you can refer to this article for more detailed steps in doing the upload: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Solopreneur.
Once everything goes well, consider regularly categorising your online bank transactions to help streamline your financial tracking and enhance decision-making in your business.
