I can help you in resolving the error you have with your bank connection, @julie-strongwork.

The piled-up cache in your regular browser sometimes caused this unusual behaviour since the bank is already connected. You can resolve this by clearing in the one that you're currently using.

Go to your account by using a private browser or an incognito window, then try to check if the connection has expired error is now removed. If it works, clear the cache in the one that you're currently using.

Here’s how to go incognito or use a private browser:

  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

Here's more information on how to clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. Once you're done clearing your browser's cache, restart your browser for the changes to take effect.

After you successfully connect the bank and pull up new transactions, you can now categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

In case you're still encountering the error message, let me know the bank account that you're having trouble with. That'll help us check to see if there's an ongoing issue with it.

I'm always here if you need help or assistance with your bank connection and or anything else by leaving a reply below. Keep safe and enjoy the rest of the day!
