When I type R in the Account History tick off list to match an entry in or out to my paper bank statements - it seems to delete the entry from the account history list?

Manually reconciling an entry won’t remove it from the Account History. It's possible that the Check column was sorted out making the reconciled transactions appear at the bottom part of the register.


Let’s run a quick report to see if they are still available. Here’s how:

  1. Go to Accounting menu and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Locate the bank account.
  3. Click the Account History drop-down under the Action column and choose Run report.
