Can I order customers alphabetically 'Company Name' instread of ‘contact names’ on https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/customers ?

Can I order customers alphabetically 'Company Name' instread of ‘contact names’ on https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/customers ?

I'm here to help order your customer's Company Name alphabetically instead of their contact names, @cjcarlettiwest.

 

To do this, let's ensure to edit all your Customer display names. This way, it will show the company name alphabetically in the list. 

 

Here's how you can edit them:

 

  1. Log in to your QBO account.
  2. Go to the Sales menu.
  3. Select the Customers tab.
  4. Click the customer's name.
  5. Choose the Edit button.

  6. In the Customer display name section, enter the name of the company.
  7. Once done, click Save.

 

Then adjust the order of the names to it's company by clicking on the arrow. See the screenshot below:
