Hello, info1101.
I'll give the steps and visual guide to help you cancel your subscription. I'll also give an advice on how we can handle the £200 charge.
Before that, is there anything that you need help with that will change your mind? The Community team might be able to turn the tables around.
Though, if you want to proceed with the cancellation, you can do it by going to your Account and Settings page. Here's a step-by-step process:
- Click the Gear icon, then select Account and Settings.
- Go to the Billing & Subscription tab.
- Click the Cancel subscription link in the QuickBooks section.
- Follow the prompts to proceed with the cancellation.
You'll also want to contact our support again to follow-up about the £200 charge. They can look into our billing system and prevent you from being charged moving forward.
You can use the same email address to contact them. Though, you can also reach them through these steps:
- Click the Help icon (beside the magnifying glass).
- Hit the Contact Us button.
- Enter "I cancelled my account but I was still charged over £200" or something similar along the lines.
- Proceed with Let's talk.
- Choose how you want to contact us.
After successfully cancelling your subscription, your data will be kept for a year until it is completely deleted from our system. I'd recommend exporting your lists and reports for backup purposes.
We hope you'll reconsider us in the future. You're always welcome to post your concerns with QuickBooks Online in the Community space. I'll be here to listen.
