Welcome to the Community. Let me provide some information about the option available to recategorise expense and income transactions in QuickBooks Online.
If you're referring to the transactions in bank feeds, the easiest way is to undo and re-categorize them again. The process allows you to send back data to the For Review tab to make the necessary changes.
On the left navigation bar, click Banking.
Select the bank account.
Go to the Categorised tab.
Search for the transaction, then press Undo.
Go back to the For review tab.
Recategorise the transaction.
If you're trying to recategorise manually entered transactions, you have the option to go to the Sales or Expenses section and edit each one of them.
Please follow these steps:
On the left navigation bar, click Sales or Expenses.
Go to the All Sales or Expenses tab.
Click to open the transaction.
Make the necessary changes.
Click Save and close.
