What are the issues you are experiencing with the migration?

Did you do the migration yourself or did we/our data services department do the migration on your behalf?

Hi John,
Thank you very much for your quick reply.
I did the migration myself - and everything worked out well (P&L and Balance Sheet totals agree) EXCEPT for 2 things:
 
1) We have three bank accounts, one of which has been empty for many years, yet the bank balances are about £15k too high in both the “active” bank accounts and the “dead” bank account is showing a balance of about -30k!
This problem is introduced by yhe migration from QB2019 to QB online.
 
2) The VAT100 form for the current VAT quarter has in a similar fashion introduced a “false offset” of about £-4K in BOTH the VAT invoiced and VAT reclaimed boxes which DO balance out to the correct “net VAT to be paid” but...
This problem seems to have been introduced by the migration from QB2006 to QB2019 because when I run the VAT100 report in QB2019 it is asking me some strange questions to which I am unable to provide a correct answer for it to allow me to proceed.
 
Hence all the BALANCES are correct but these two “details” are wrong.
 
I am travelling to the office at the moment but I am guessing someone will need to have a look at the actual accounts onlne or in the 2019 desktop version, so I will be happy to arrange a hook-up.

We would advise to call our support line, they will be able to set up a screenshare so they can look at the issues on your Online account, and you can show them the difference with your Desktop account. You can reach them via 0808 234 5337.
