Why is this happening?

Our priority is supporting you in getting your employees paid so we've worked hard to build a payroll product that is simple, easy to use and best in class - QuickBooks Online Payroll

Online Payroll includes automatic updates, access anywhere /anytime to your payroll and a suite of products tailored to your needs.

QuickBooks Online Payroll requires QuickBooks Online.

To access and print an employee's data, take the following, simple steps in QuickBooks Desktop:

  1. Click Employees -> Employee Centre
  2. On the top click Print -> Employee Information

To access your payroll reports:

  1. Click Reports -> Employees & Payroll 

We recommend you export the following reports:

  • Payroll Summary
  • P32 report
  • Payroll Liability Balances
  • Payroll Qualified Pension (if applicable)

  1. Go to Employees, then select Payroll Centre
  2. Within the Filing History section select the Details option of your latest FPS. You will now be viewing the FPS filing
  3. Next in the Windows search bar located on the left-hand side of your taskbar, next to the Windows button type C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp, then search/locate a file called tempFpsXml
  4. Right-click to copy and save to your desktop or another accessible folder
