CIS return rejected. Checked all info. to be correct but still being rejected

Hi sharon-ann-jay-h, due to the sensitive nature of the tax authority user credentials, a single error message is sent by HMRC to QuickBooks to prevent any possibility of security incidents if any of the following information is incorrect. If you are having difficulties submitting your CIS return, please verify:

 

- Correct username
- Correct password
- Valid UTR
- Valid PAYE Ref
- Valid Accounts Office Ref
- Valid Subcontractor UTR
- Accurate National Insurance and verification numbers (in subcontractor settings)
- Any special characters in subcontractor name (characters allowed: A-Z, a-z, 0 to 9, space & ‘ ( ) * , - . / @ £)
