Directors and auto enrolment

Payroll has failed due to auto enrolment but it is only directors being paid. Have selected “non-eligible job holder” and “none of the above” but still no luck. What do I need to do?

Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this payroll issue due to auto enrolment, @NB791.

 

I want to make sure you're able to process payroll without any problems. For auto enrolment concerns in QuickBooks Online Payroll for UK, I highly recommend contacting our Payroll Support.

 

They can check on your pension settings as well as the auto enrolment setup. They have the tools to look into this failed payroll and can provide troubleshooting to help you resolve this.

 

To contact us, perform these steps in your QBO account:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to the Help (?) menu.
  3. Click the Payroll button.
  4. Choose QuickBooks Standard Payroll Hub or QuickBooks Advanced Payroll Hub as required. The respective Self-help is displayed.
  5. If you want to contact support directly, type ‘Chat’ in the ‘Type Something’ field and use Enter.
  6. Tap on Ask me a question, or Contact a human.
  7. Select Live chat/Call me back.
  8. Enter your question, then select Continue.
  9. Pick a way to connect with us.
