Hi there, @mbarton30-mb. You can temporarily change the employee's status to exclude them from the upcoming payroll. Here’s how:
- Navigate to the Payroll menu and select Employees.
- Find the employees you want to update and click their name.
- From the Actions drop-down, select Change Status.
- In the Status section, choose Not on payroll.
If the employee is using auto-payroll, you can turn it off temporarily to prevent automatic processing. Here’s how:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Payroll Settings.
- In the Auto Payroll section, click Edit and select Pause Auto Payroll.
- Choose between All employees or Individual Employees.
- Set the payroll resumption date and click Save.
