I have the steps to access a P60 for an employee in QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP), Natasha. I'm here to help guide you through the process.
Please note that P60 forms are only issued to employees who are still with the company on the last day of the tax year, April 5th. Since this employee left before that date, they should receive a P45 form instead, which details their earnings and taxes up to their departure date.
To access the P45 form:
- Go to Payroll and select Employees.
- Click the employee's name to open their profile. If you can't find their name, use the filter and select All employees.

- Navigate to HMRC/AE forms and select View to open the P45 form.
- You have the option to email the form or download it. If emailing, select Send notification, and you can re-send it if necessary.

To view P60 forms before publishing them, follow these steps:
- From the Payroll menu, go to the Reports tab.
- Select P60 End of Year Certificates.
- Choose the correct Financial Year from the dropdown list.
- Click Show P60 certificates, then Actions, and select Publish or Download the P60 form.

If the P60 form isn't visible after processing the final payroll for the year, I recommend contacting our Live Support Team for further assistance.
Additionally, take advantage of the QuickBooks Workforce feature to streamline the process of issuing P60s and payslips for your team. Refer to this article for more insights: Invite Employees to QuickBooks Workforce to See Payslips, P60s, and More.
