Does anyone no why QuickBooks keeps shutting down on my iPhone but is ok on my ipad

I'm here to help you get this sorted out, @Michael harwood.

You'll get an unusual behavior when your app is not updated, or caches are piled up. Let's make sure to check for the latest update in Play Store. Then, open your QuickBooks Online app again to see if it keeps crashing.

Otherwise, follow the steps below to clear the app's cache. This helps refresh the program.

Here's how:

Using iOs:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Select Reset App Data.
  3. Click OK.

The second option is to uninstall and reinstall the app. For uninstalling the QBO app using iOs device, you can touch and hold the app, then click the Delete app button. Nothing to worry about uninstalling the app because it won't delete the subscription you have.
