Hey, I need to do payroll tomorrow but I can’t enter employee bank details on standard payroll please help

Hi usertom Standard payroll doesn't have the functionality to create a BACS file/pay employees from the system via your bank. Our advanced payroll system will enable you create, download and upload a BACS file you your bank, the subscription charge for advanced payroll is 8 GBP/month excluding VAT.

That’s great thanks, I’ve just upgraded to standard, how do I go to advanced payroll now as I can’t find the option ?

Hi usertom You don't have the option to upgrade to advanced this will have to be done by our T2 support team. First you'll have to contact our telephone customer support team 0808 234 5337 and they'll raise it to the T2 team.

how do I pay via standard payroll ? I’ve setup all the backend hmrc stuff and created employee etc, if I run payroll tonight for tomorrow will it ask what bank account to pay into ?

in the mean time as I may not get chance today and need to run payroll tonight / tomorrow morning, if just click run payroll will it record it QBO as pay and then I have to just do the payment from the bank account ?

Hi usertom That's correct if you run payroll you'll be able to get the wage slips and then arrange payment at the bank.
