Hi I am emailing payslips to my employees but they need a password to open the email. How do I generate a password for each of them in quickbooks payroll Thanks

I can help you generate a password for your employees, leginthomson-gma.

The password used to access the payslips would be unique to each employee. It consists of eight characters and made up of the following:

• The first 4 letters of the employee’s surname (lowercase)
• First 4 characters of the NI number (lowercase). If the NI number is not there, then the employee’s birth year is used instead. 

For example, the employee’s last name is Mendoza with NI no. AB 12 34 56 D,  then her password would be mendab12.
