How can I add one days sick in advanced payroll

I run my payroll on a Tuesday for previous week, trying to add one day SSP it does not give me the option to save. I want to be able to see it in the employees record even if payment is not due.

When creating the leave please try selecting the option for 'Basic Pay Adjustment' = 'Pay basic pay as entered' and then select 'Advanced options' and tick the box to 'Override' and then un-tick all of the qualifying days.

Welcome to the Community page,

 

What is happening when you try and save it, does it if you an error message or code showing up?

 

So is the save button now showing or greyed out? 

 

Could you provide us with a screenshot of the page so we can have a look at the same thing you're looking at please.

Hi woodford,

 

Are you using the Standard or the Advanced payroll?

 

An easy way to check if you're unsure is to select the 'Employees' tab on the left-hand menu - this will show as two separate tabs for 'Employees' and 'Payroll' if you're using the standard version. 

 

Additionally, are you able to try entering this by signing into QuickBooks on an incognito/private browsing window to test if this is caused by a cache issue? 👩🏻‍💻
